Pupils and families at St Joseph’s, Ramsbottom have once again shown their generosity by supporting a recent cereal collection for the Red Door charity, with the school community donating an incredible 140 boxes of cereal to help those in need.
The donations were delivered to the charity last Friday and will help provide essential food supplies for local families who rely on the support offered by the Red Door. The collection was made possible thanks to the kindness and commitment of pupils, parents and staff, who worked together to make a real difference within their community.
Opportunities like this are an important part of life at St Joseph’s, where helping others is at the heart of the school’s mission. Through simple but meaningful acts of service, pupils learn the importance of compassion, generosity and responsibility, putting their faith into action in practical ways.
We are very proud of the St Joseph’s community for the care they have shown to others. Acts of kindness like this reflect the Gospel values that guide our schools and remind us how working together can make a positive difference to the lives of those around us.
