Throughout this academic year, the St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust has been proud to work in partnership with the PTI (Professional Teaching Institute) to offer exceptional professional development opportunities for teachers across our family of schools.

Through this collaboration, colleagues have accessed high-quality training, subject-focused CPD, and rich opportunities to deepen their knowledge and practice—all with the aim of inspiring great teaching and great learning for every child we serve.

This commitment to professional growth was recognised in a very special way recently when Chris Horridge, one of our Regional Performance Officers and a key lead for this work, was invited to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace. The event celebrated the contribution of educators and the impact of organisations like the PTI in supporting excellence across the sector.

We are immensely proud of Chris, whose dedication and organisation have helped bring the benefits of this partnership to life across our Trust. His invitation was a fitting tribute to the positive difference he—and so many of our colleagues—make every day.

At STOC Trust, we believe that investing in our staff is investing in our children. Our ongoing work with the PTI reflects this belief, and we look forward to continuing to provide transformative professional development that empowers teachers and enriches classrooms across our schools.
