This week, our team visited the wonderful St Ethelbert’s Catholic Primary School to capture something truly special—staff and children sharing, in their own words, what makes their school such a joyful place to work and learn.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear: St Ethelbert’s is a school full of heart. Staff spoke with warmth, pride and passion about their roles, their colleagues, and the unique sense of family that shapes daily life at the school. Whether it was stories of support from their teams or reflections on the joy of teaching in such a nurturing environment, each voice added to a beautiful portrait of a community rooted in love, care, and high expectations.

Equally inspiring were the children, who lit up on camera as they shared what they love most about coming to school. Their words spoke volumes—about friendship, fun, learning, faith, and the feeling of being truly known and valued.

As we continue to shine a light on the amazing people and places that make up our Trust, visits like this remind us of the deep impact our schools have on the lives of those within them.
