I’m Becky Sherry, and I am proud to lead the central finance team and more recently the procurement team.

The central finance team consists of finance business partners, finance assistants, and a newly appointed finance apprentice. We all work very closely to support the schools in the trust with all aspects of school finance and school budgets.

School funding is complex, but we ensure that every penny that we receive, is budgeted correctly and spent appropriately.

The procurement team have recently appointed an apprentice, which gives the team even more capacity to help schools with everything to do with purchasing goods and services. The procurement team helps schools with the correct procurement of everything from a pen to a new gas or electricity contract.

The procurement team will be rolling out a comprehensive trust wide procurement training programme in the coming weeks. This will give colleagues in the trust a good overview of the complexities of procurement.

Our number one priority is always our pupils. We want them to have all the resources and opportunities they can, to achieve their best.
