Recently, staff, governors, and young people from across the St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust gathered at Our Lady and St Joseph Church in Heywood for our annual End of Year Mass.

The celebration was a powerful reminder of our shared mission and the deep sense of community that connects our Trust family. With representatives from every school in attendance, the Mass offered a special moment to pause, give thanks, and reflect on all that has been achieved throughout this academic year.

Fr Augustine led us in a beautiful and uplifting Mass, filled with gratitude and hope. Pupils played a central role in the celebration—proclaiming the readings, serving at the altar  and leading us in song. Their reverence and confidence were a true credit to their schools and their teachers.

As we approach the end of the school year, this Mass gave us space to thank God for the blessings of the year gone by and to pray for rest, renewal, and continued inspiration in the months ahead.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr Augustine for celebrating Mass with us, and to the young people of St Joseph’s and Our Lady and St Paul for their warm hospitality and the role they played in the Mass. Thank you also to all who helped prepare and lead such a meaningful occasion.

At STOC Trust, our faith is the foundation of everything we do. Our End of Year Mass is a powerful reminder that we are one family—united in Christ, working together in service of our children, our schools, and our communities.
