Primary pupils across our Trust family have been taking exciting steps in their digital learning journey this term, thanks to a series of in-school Student Device Rollout sessions led by our Head of Innovation.
Visiting each primary school in turn, these sessions have introduced both pupils and staff to the Trust’s new laptops, alongside hands-on guidance on classroom device management software and each school’s own SharePoint Landing Page. Children embraced the opportunity to explore their new devices, quickly building confidence as they learned how technology can support their learning in meaningful and creative ways.
Staff also benefited from practical demonstrations, gaining a clearer understanding of how the new systems can enhance classroom organisation, collaboration and access to shared resources. The sessions created valuable space for questions, discussion and shared learning, ensuring everyone feels supported as this next phase of digital development unfolds.
Initiatives like this reflect our commitment to equipping pupils with the skills they need for the future, while empowering staff with tools that strengthen teaching and learning. It has been wonderful to see such enthusiasm across our primary schools, and we look forward to watching these devices enrich learning experiences in classrooms every day.
