A Week of Collaboration and Commitment: Writing Moderation at STOC Central
This week (WB 7th April), teachers from across our Trust—and from schools preparing to join us—gathered at STOC Central for a series of writing moderation and professional development sessions, led by the brilliant Dawn Robertson.
Each day brought together passionate educators from Key Stage 1 through to Upper Key Stage 2, united in their desire to refine practice, ensure consistency, and most importantly, secure the very best outcomes for the children we serve.
There was a particular joy in welcoming colleagues from schools who will soon become part of the STOC family. Their presence added to the richness of the dialogue and the spirit of collaboration that defines our Trust.
We were especially moved by the dedication shown by teachers who joined us during their Easter break—proof, once again, of the extraordinary commitment of our staff. Their willingness to give up time for the benefit of their pupils is a living example of our mission to make Christ known, making lives better for our communities, our children and young people.
Thank you to everyone who participated—and to Dawn for her expert leadership throughout the week.
