At STOC, Safeguarding intertwines with our mission to make lives better for our communities, our children and young people.

All our schools work together as one Trust, to create a safe and supportive environment, where every child feels valued and secure and where all pupils can learn and develop and feel supported to reach their full potential.

Our inclusive safeguarding practices ensure that all children, staff, parents and schools have the opportunities to grow and flourish.

We care about keeping everyone safe, so across our Trust, we help staff, parents, and students, recognise how to spot the signs of abuse by providing regular training, by raising awareness of key safeguarding issues and risks, and with clear, supportive safeguarding guidance.

Our Trust safeguarding and child protection policy follows local safeguarding partnership procedures and current DfE guidance (KCSIE) and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023.

Sit Down With Pauline Baker

Safeguarding is at the heart of our Trust because it reflects our deep commitment to the dignity and wellbeing of every child. Rooted in the value of hope, we believe in each child’s potential and strive to protect their right to a future full of promise. With courage, we act decisively and compassionately to uphold the safety of all, even when it requires difficult conversations or bold decisions. Through innovation, we continuously seek better ways to protect and nurture our children, ensuring our practices evolve to meet their changing needs. By embedding our  mission values into our daily practice, we create a nurturing and secure environment where every child has the support to thrive and succeed.
